OUR CHURCH
Our story continues to unfold, but it all started in the summer of 2018. Prior to the official launch of LIGHT CITY, we hosted small gatherings entitled, “LIGHT SESSIONS.” Held in our Lead Pastors’ basement, these sessions were simple in nature, but powerful in impact. During this time, God began to gather people to LIGHT CITY with kindred hearts and a strong passion for God. Many of those individuals became first partners of LIGHT CITY Church. We officially launched on October 14, 2018.
ABOUT LIGHT CITY
LIGHT CITY exists to introduce Jesus Christ, the Light, to individuals and families. We are a community of believers passionate about encountering God, impacting lives, and changing our region. Our desire is to equip people to become a light in this generation by finding and fulfilling their God-given purposes.
One of our earlier partners once said, “LIGHT CITY is #churchdonedifferently,” and we liked it, so we kept it (smile). LIGHT CITY's gatherings and worship experiences are designed for you to connect with God, experience freedom, and build relationships with others who are passionate about Jesus. Our weekend Encounter God services are filled with powerful worship, corporate intercession, and life-applicable biblical teaching. You may also come one Sunday and be surprised to find a different format such as Question & Answer, Small Groups, Corporate Prayer, and Family Feast Gatherings. At the conclusion of every worship experience, we desire for you to leave refreshed and empowered to walk with God in your daily life.
